Het is de moeite waard om onderstaande uitzending van 5 september terug te kijken, het begint al heftig:
18% van de Duitsers zou direct op Sarrazin stemmen...., en dat alleen op basis van een boek dat de hele week in de Duitse media voorpagina nieuws was.

Duidelijk dat in Duitsland dezelfde veenbrand is, dat zelfs ondanks ongelukkige uitspraken van Sarrazin over genetica, men daar zelfs overheen stapt en alleen al om de titel van zijn boek achter deze man gaat staan.
